New Domain phase stocks up on culinary options
24 Diner’s second location will be in the Rock Rose section of The Domain, beefing up the tenants Endeavor Real Estate Group LLC has signed for its portion of the massive mixed-use development that has become one of North Austin’s primary retail hubs.
ELM Restaurant Group said Wednesday it hopes to open the 24-hour eatery in 2017 in 6,000 square feet at 3100 Esperanza Crossing, Suite 100. Andrew Curren will be in charge of culinary operations.
San Antonio-based Lake/Flato Architects will design the space, which will be able to hold about 140 diners plus 40 on the patio.
ELM’s other Austin restaurants include Easy Tiger Bake Shop & Beer Garden, Italic and Irene’s, all in the downtown area. It is expanding its geographic footprint with the new 24 Diner, plus a new Easy Tiger location at The Linc off I-35. ELM is also developing Fareground, a food hall at One Eleven Congress.
Austin-based Endeavor owns Rock Rose along with Domain Northside, which offer a combined 600,000 square feet of retail space. The Domain Northside website lists 25 restaurants either on the way or already open in the newest section of the mixed-use development, including Hat Creek Burger Co. and Salvation Pizza of Austin.
